Experience Required for Junior Editors:

• Written at least one complete manuscript

• Experience editing manuscripts

• An MFA or the recipient of a prestigious writing award or fellowship

• (Ideally) Majored in Literature

• Expertise in plot structure, character development, and other narrative elements

Experience Required for Senior Editors:

• Experience editing at least 5 manuscripts

• Background as one of the following:

• A traditionally published author

  OR

• A publishing industry veteran, ideally a current or former literary agent or editor at a publishing house
